EleKtro 911 Electric Scooter Review: A Posh Entry-level E-scooter

EleKtro 911 Electric Scooter Review: A Posh Entry-level E-scooter

EleKtro just released another entry-level ride, the EleKtro 911 electric scooter. This premium and posh e-scooter is designed by the maker of Porsche and is inspired by the Porsche 911 car model, giving it a distinct look.

But will it become the best entry-level electric scooter in its category? Also, how does it differ from other entry-level e-scooters? Learn more about the EleKtro 911 in this in-depth electric scooter review.

Posh Design

The EleKtro 911 electric scooter sports a sleek and minimalist design with silver accents and a dark grey exterior.

As mentioned, the e-scooter is designed by F.A. Porsche Studio and draws inspiration from Porsche 911. It incorporates the curved design in the Porsche 911 in its features, such as its wheel fender cover, the base of its stem, and slightly curved handlebars.

Besides its look, it also includes atmospheric lighting on the side of its deck, giving it a distinct look.

Capable Performance

The EleKtro 911 isn’t just about its looks. It also delivers enough power for daily commutes and city riding. It uses a 350 W single motor to produce a speed of up to 25 kph, which is within most state’s speed limits.

This entry-level electric scooter also has a high capacity thanks to its 36 V 10.4 Ah battery. As a result, it can travel up to 40 km on a single charge. Many entry-level e-scooters deliver less range than the EleKtro 911, making it one of the e-scooters with a longer range in its category.

Portable and Practical

Like other entry-level rides, the EleKtro 911 scooter offers practicality. It’s one of the lighter options on the market with a weight of 14 kg. It also features a fairly compact size, enabling you to transport it easily anywhere.

It also has a foldable stem. However, you’ll need to twist or lift up the base of the stem first to access its folding mechanism. It involves a few more steps, unlike other e-scooters. Nonetheless, it’s still a practical ride overall.

Reliable Safety Features

Most entry-level e-scooters use drum brakes or foot brakes, but the EleKtro 911 uses a rear disc brake. Disc brakes are powerful and responsive braking systems that keep you safe during emergencies on the road.

The EleKtro 911 e-scooter is also fitted with front, rear, and atmospheric lights, giving riders more visibility of the road. It also makes the riders more visible to other vehicles and pedestrians when riding at night. The atmospheric lights not only add style but also functionality.

Excellent Ride Quality

The EleKtro 911 e-scooter may not be an off-road e-scooter, but it offers decent ride quality, especially on city roads. It doesn’t have a suspension, but its 10-inch pneumatic tyres help cushion each ride, especially on rough paths. Ultimately, it helps reduce rattling, shaking, and instability while riding.

Is It Worth Your Money?

The EleKtro 911 costs $1,099. This may be slightly more expensive than other entry-level rides. However, when it comes to the premium category of entry-level e-scooters, it’s quite reasonable.

Also, keep in mind that you get an e-scooter designed by Porsche and built with premium and durable materials. Plus, you get more power and range than most entry-level rides. Overall, it’s a decent price,

However, if that’s still too much, EleKtro offers occasional sales, enabling you to buy the EleKtro 911 e-scooter at a lower price.

Ultimately, we recommend the EleKtro 911 for beginner riders due to its easy manoeuvrability. Experienced riders may also use this if they’re looking for a premium and lightweight e-scooter with a unique, posh design.
